quarantine. spring 2020.

Growing up with a lot of friends who played music, I have always found myself with a camera in my hand, attempting to capture the timeless moments of joy, rage, love, and beautiful expression in all forms that often plays out on stage. Over the years, I also began to find enjoyment in capturing moments elsewhere as well, and slowly began practicing photography in many different spaces.

I enjoy shooting concerts, urban architecture and street photos, landscapes, and candid photos in social environments. I currently shoot digitally with a Sony A7cii, and sometimes enjoy shooting more experimentally with film, especially the 110 format, which is the very first format I ever took photos with, when I was 7 or 8 years old!

I have come to believe that photography and filmmaking are the closest things we have to time travel. We can't go back in time, but we can capture moments that make us feel indescribable emotions that can often only be understood by looking at them as they happened. I aim to capture these feelings and emotions as accurately as I can.
